Yep, Stroud has been average to poor all year. Not to mention, explain to me the logic that Stats aren't useful in the playoffs, but the way Stroud performed in the playoffs is also not relevant? Stroud looked a lot like what he has looked like for the past two seasons. Pittsburgh just wasn't good enough to take advantage of that, and the Texan defense bailed him out.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 5:08 pmHe's really not.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 14, 2026 3:57 pm
Darnold is better than Stroud, but Stroud is better than he was on Monday night. Stats won't be useful
in the playoffs.
For the Season...
64.5% completions 217 yards per game
Monday Night
65.6% completions 250 yards

And he fumbled five times (although one was when he wasn't looking for the snap), one shy of the NFL record. Amazing that a QB can fumble five times and his team still wins by 24 points. Probably helped that he wasn't like Rodgers who fell down every time somebody's shadow bumped him.
