Yeah we are probably just going to watch it with our Landlords. lol The live in the basement of our House so easy commute. He just got a new 70 or 80 inch TV so that will work and his GF is a 20 something little hottie so hopefully she will be in a Hawks cheerleader outfit. haMichael K. wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 5:32 pmI can't do parties or the bar when it's the Hawks. Too much shit going on and I'm trying to watch the game. As far as the bar scene? I'd say Side Chick. They actually turn the volume up, so you can hear. I feel like as far as being out? The price there is decent.
Don't get a fancy drink, but I don't think they could fuck up Crown and Coke and Vodka Cran! I always just get a beer or bourbon on the rocks. Can't even imagine what the Old Fashioned would look and taste like!

Yup, I was going to have a few geezer high school buddies over for what we always called Eating for Sport, but they are scattered from Arlington to Oly and staying close to their bunkers for this one. Probably best. I can't even sit down for three hours when I'm screaming at the TV and shitty company.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Jan 29, 2026 5:52 pmYeah we are probably just going to watch it with our Landlords. lol The live in the basement of our House so easy commute. Wenatchee? Is the Igloo Tavern still there? I sold a lot of food at Apple Blossoms decades ago. One of my favorite towns in the state for sure.

Yep we went to the Igloo a couple months ago for a morning Hawks game when the Buzz Inn was too packed and it was just opening up and was empty. Talked to the owner for quite a while.maoling wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 2:50 amYup, I was going to have a few geezer high school buddies over for what we always called Eating for Sport, but they are scattered from Arlington to Oly and staying close to their bunkers for this one. Some of the best memories of my life are my Seahawk parties with 20-25 friends there. I don't mind watching a regular season game alone but for playoffs or SB it makes it 10x better when there are a bunch of friends there all rooting for the Hawks. I met a guy that runs the Eagles. Might go there for the game.

Re: 2025 NFL Pick em Pool
A bunch of us went to the Igloo in December after our Work Christmas Party. First time I'd been in there in years. Hasn't changed much. When I was 22 or 23, I used to work in the summers on a road crew up on the plateau. I'd work 7 to 5 up there then bust my ass down the canyon to work the night shift at UPS. Then get up and do it all over again....but we didn't work Friday's on the road crew, so after work on Thursday night? Usually between 9 and 10 pm? I had until 6 the next night before I had to be at work, so we ALWAYS started at the Igloo Thursday night playing pool. There was a few of those times I was pulling into my driveway after dropping my girlfriend off in Cashmere, and I realized it was almost 25 hours after I had left the house that morning! I imagine I'd be down for four days if I tried that shit again!

I'm the opposite. I can do parties for games I don't care about. Not when the Seahawks are in the Super Bowl. Too much going on around me, too much jabbering and noise.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 3:13 am

Reminds me of Seafair 1989. I went to a wedding and reception Saturday night then home and down to the Montlake cut to get on my buddies boat at about midnight. Partied all night and then all day Sunday and and didn't get home until Sunday morning. Alcohol poisoning, sunstroke, dehydration, food deprivation. Miracle I survived. slept like 20 hours until Monday morning. lolMichael K. wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 5:52 pmA bunch of us went to the Igloo in December after our Work Christmas Party. I remember now. I got home early evening after Seafair Sunday Hydro races and slept until noon Monday.
