Darnold is going to be due one next season. That impacts their decisions this season

That aspect isn't really about the FAs, it's the extensions. Nobody is talking about that. It's JSN and witherspoon that's really going to take a chunk out of the cap
Yeah, well I consider this bull shit. The window is right now. All in. You hear about teams going all in. This is
the perfect time and JSN and Spoon are still on their rookie contract for this year.

Yeah, I'd say the Rams are at a point to think about going all in. The seahawks less so. The seahawks are hopefully at the beginning of a run like that

Rasheed on returning, so does that negate the kubiak raiders angle?
"Absolutely, absolutely, yeah," Shaheed said on NFL Insiders via NFL.com. "Conversations are definitely going to be heating up towards March. But you know, I would love to come back. I loved my experience here, I'm loving the Pacific Northwest, and obviously the organization is second to none.

"I kind of want to run it back. We just won the Super Bowl, so, you know, why not?"

By the Seahawks doing nothing, these players will be back. Kupp (who I like a lot) appears to be
the only one arguably being overpaid. IMO.

Yeah, Kupp is going to be an interesting decision

I can see Kupp either getting "extended" to reduce his cap hit, or his contract reworked to reduce it. He is replacable. Might make a solid receivers coach tho.

Are you two sure?
In the NFL, the phrase "contract guarantees set to vest" (or similar wording like "guarantees vesting" or "vesting guarantees") refers to portions of a player's contract that are not fully guaranteed right when the deal is signed but become fully guaranteed at a later specific date or trigger point—if certain conditions are met (usually the player remaining on the roster past that date).

The Rams seem to have had their window. With Stafford they won a Super Bowl, followed that going 5 and 12 and missing the playoffs. Then went 10 and 7 and lost to Detroit in the WC round. Then 10 and 7 and lost to Philly in the Divisional Round. Then went 12 and 5 and lost to us in the NFCCG.

Stafford was rumored to be contemplating retirement after last season. McVey has been rumored to be looking at retirement every year since the Super Bowl win. They were just exposed for being a dogshit organization in the way they handled the guy that won a fucking Super Bowl MVP for them. I don't see them on the incline.

McVey is a very good coach, especially on the offensive side of the ball. But? Does he stick around to break in another QB? There aren't that many of them out there, and I don't see them drafting one that is a game changer this season with the spot they draft in. They are one well placed hit on Stafford from being 5 and 12 again.
