You can't keep everyone. This is a bummer, but it's the reality of things. There are backs out there. Not a great year for backs in the draft, but it is what it is.

As for why do you pay a CB? Not sure why anyone would ever say that. You pay the guys on defense based on how they impact the QB in the passing game. We have DBs that not only impact the QB by covering WRs, but by generating pass rush as well. I'm blown away how anyone could watch what they did this off season and the result to this season and start thinking that we are obviously fucking up now. JS has nailed like four drafts in a row. I expect he'll do that this year as well.
That's the guy now, the hybrid. It's what they were after with Adams. They have one of the best with witherspoon. That was a great draft pick. I bet Pete and JS didn't have any issues with that one

I'm hoping to hear that Riqo Suave got signed by another team.

Saving money to sign Spoon and #1 money for JSN. Not really happy.

I get it is a business but at some point if we let every FA walk we are just rooting for laundry as Seinfeld said. No difference than College football. Only difference is we are used to it in the NFL and the NFL has a more structured system in place. Fucking Yee Haw.

And people are rooting for the same system in MLB. Fucking insanity.

I guess we can't take solace that it was an idiot doormat loser franchise like the Chiefs that were dumb enough to over pay for Walker. WTF were they thinking?? Guessing they will be signing Geno to be their next QB 1 any day now...lol

Now watch Walker go three seasons injury free and average 300 carries and 1500 yards.

This is getting ridiculous. Mafe is a good backup, but not worth $20m. What next, Riq gets 3 years $99 mil?
