Huard is impressed with the Broncos schedule
“My goodness gracious – the Denver Broncos,” Huard said during Friday’s Blue 88 segment during Seattle Sports’ Brock and Salk. “… You’re going to go to Arrowhead and play (the Chiefs) on Monday night to begin the year. Then you get the playoff Jacksonville Jaguars. Oh, and then you get the Rams. And then you’re going to go to San Francisco. And then you’re going to go to the Chargers, who have been your nemesis. And then you get the Seahawks on Thursday night. That is their first six.”

That's brutal. Will be interesting to see how Nix and Mahomes look in that first game coming off injuries.

Wild how broken bones are better than torn ligaments.
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is expected to be a full participant by the start of training camp in late July DenverBroncos, and there is a "good chance" he returns to the field for some throwing during mandatory minicamp in June YahooSports.Injury Context & TimelineThe Injury: Nix suffered a fractured right ankle during the divisional round of the playoffs BleacherReport.

I think he's referring to this...
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix underwent a second, "cleanup" procedure on his surgically repaired right ankle in late April 2026, but is still expected to be ready for training camp. The surgery, performed by Dr. Norman Waldrop in Alabama, was an anticipated follow-up to remove scar tissue, with coach Sean Payton describing it as a routine "second step" in his recovery.

I hear broken ankles are life-long recoveries...
