First of all its June. 2nd of all if used significantly it will be on 3rd down as a blocker and occasionally catching passes. I wouldn't call that relying on him as a RB1.

I didn't say anything about being number one. I see a situation like we had last season with Walker and charbonnet. They seem more interested in Holani than Wilson to fill it. Holani is going to be getting carries it looks like as charbonnet did last season, that's my guess. A rookie with 280 carries in college and a veteran with 83 yards in the pros are going to be carrying the load at this point, with a rookie OC

Hard to imagine Wilson not passing Hilani in the pecking order by the end of training camp.

Why, I think they are serious about Holani. They are giving him the snaps

Allen Iverson would lose his mind. Practice? We talking about practice???? Now Donn is going to have to sell his Garrett jersey to fund his Holani jersey. lol

Yeah ota snaps, I just don't understand the point of giving them to Holani if you signed Wilson to have charbonnets role

The Jones deal is strange
When asked if Jones' inability to practice is related to the ankle and knee injuries he played through late last season, Macdonald said, "He's just not ready to practice yet. He needs to become ready to practice. That's his responsibility

This is considered a legendary play by Hall. Preseason 2024, it's still shown during meetings. Destroys not one but two blockers. This is how you set the edge
"We talk about the style of how we want to play, that's it right there," coach Mike Macdonald said in 2024. "... Just an all-time great play from him."

Could be about familiarity with the offense, or showing deference or loyalty to the guy who's been with team for 2 years, or perhaps Wilson has some undisclosed injury that is slowing him down.
