I don't consider Barnwell to be some guy. He's been involved in football analysis for years. He helped establish Football Outsiders, he has developed particular football analytics. He wrote for Grantland for a number of years. He knows football. You don't have to agree with him but I respect his opinion. He's going to do the research to be able to compare rosters. In that sense I doubt it's just him, he's got a staff. He has a reputation, he's not just pulling crap out of his ass. Not all writers are like that. There's plenty of mindless content being churned out. I enjoy reading about sports so I try to differentiate.

Sure, disagree with him but that doesn't make him dumb as dirt anymore than me disagreeing with someone here makes them dumb. It's a difference of opinion

Well I was probably nitpicking and I shouldn't have assumed that he didn't take Horton into consideration, but it was still a pretty annoying omission (to me anyway).

Do you know if he has done similar rankings for other position groups or will be?
