I think a lot of their success is due to how they bird dog talent. Every position on the roster is important to them. And they are scouring the league for it. It was interesting how they would bring in players and cut them again in day or two. I got this impression of JS being fanantical about it, searching.
See this, ESPN did a long piece following Zac Durfee through the draft process. At one point he gets a call from an NFL coach. They dont name him. It sounds like MM. Requiting for their UDFA signings even before the draft is finished. Thats the kind of thoroughness they exhibit
