Re: We got 3 comp picks!
For the record then:
Round 1:
#27
Round 2:
#59, #64
Round 3:
#101
Round 4:
#133, #144
Round 5:
#155
Round 6:
#215
Round 7:
#242
I like the 133, 144, 155 pattern. With 9 picks in all, the impetus to trade down might be lowered.

Don't know why Condotta said 11 total. Not sure how you screw that up being the beat writer and all.
I am sure they will trade down to try to set the record for most draft picks in NFL history.

Re: We got 3 comp picks!
I've heard a couple people say Hawks have 11 picks..
I know they have two second round picks.
Re: We got 3 comp picks!
Somebody corrected him and said 9 and now Ron (Oso Dorado) has 9 with the two second round picks. We could probably move up 10-12 spots in the first round by swapping with someone and giving them one of our seconds. Resign Clowning and then get another top 15 pick edge rusher sounds good to me.

Re: We got 3 comp picks!
It would take more than swapping 1sts and giving a second to move up 10-12 spots. Only reason that potential trade for Ngakoue was like that is because you have a player that is refusing to sign franchise tender like Clowney.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 3:47 pm

This isn't a good draft for edge rushers. Even Young is projected to do well (Aaron Curry was too) . Resigning Clooney AND make the Ngakoue trade is the way to go.
The same talking heads that are saying they won't do that are the same ones that said there is no way they would trade for Clowney last year. Same negative, baseless crap.
Re: We got 3 comp picks!
If you take our 1st round pick (27th) which is valued at 680 points and add our higher 2nd round pick at 310 points you get 990. You could trade those two for Atlanta's 16th pick worth 1000 or at least Dallas' 17th pick for 950 points. I got lucky with my move up 10-12 guess. Its actually 10-11.ThePro wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 3:57 pmIt would take more than swapping 1sts and giving a second to move up 10-12 spots. Re: We got 3 comp picks!
But if there aren't good edge rushers or OLs at 16-17 it would be pointless obviously.
