Looked like Oregon, so of course I hated them.

I agree with AA about this only being MM's second year. I really believe this is a year or two early. I said it earlier this week, but this feels like the team that broke RGIII on that sloppy as turf in Washington and then nearly came back and beat the Falcons in Atlanta. The difference could be that we could get home playoff games. Feels like that has become a good thing, once again.

I wouldn't have been pissed had we lost. LA is fucking good, and they have the better O Line and QB. But they are not as tough. Could you imagine being a teammate of that shithead Puka? Got into it with a teammate not that long ago because he was live streaming from the Locker Room, and tried to deny it. Then bitches about the refs on a stupid ass gamer live stream, then tweets about them after the game. McVey seemed overly thrilled about answering those questions post game. I also thought it was hilarious that Jones called them out for talking smack like the game was over.

I didn't go into the game hating the Rams, it's hard to hate Stafford, I think McVey is fucking fun as Hell to listen to and watch, I think Kyren Williams is a fucking dude, and so is Blake Corum. I loved Parkinson while he was here (big drops last night by the way), but something about watching Puka and their team last night that is lighting some of that old Ram hatred. When that douche bag Fisher was there? I'm not sure there was another team I hated more, and that's saying a lot since Harbaugh was with the Niners I believe!

All of this - especially the Oregon comment
Good friend of mine from Seattle now lives in Eugene - he's all about the Ducks and I often threaten to unfriend him and block his number and we both get a good laugh.

Comment about the Atlanta season - that loss - didn't sting - it inspired what was coming and everyone felt it. Was never more hyped for a season of football then the season after that loss - you could feel that team about to explode. This team is close.

agree about the lambs have to put 'hate' for them in finger quotes 'cause they are a likable team all the way around - the niners were easy to hate because we were the two big dogs on the porch and something had to give. I never really hated Harbaugh, I just loved to beat him.

Anyone see Sherman's reaction after the game? Dude was just so giddy he could not contain himself. SO amazing - and the other sideline reporter is a big hawks fan too - I forget her name but I beleive she is from seattle.
You never hated Harbaugh? OMG, that guy is the biggest douchebag ever. Watching him rant on the sidelines about every ticky-tack call. I wanted to punch him squarely in the nuts.

he was a great villain in that rivalry, but I've always liked Michigan, always a great 'gentlemen's" rivalry with UW, classic Rose Bowl games - so whereas I wasn't fan of his, I didn't hate him as much (as I should - lol). The other coach that I likes was Arians when he was in AZ - always talking shot - and then backing it up every time we would lay an egg at home against his Cardinal teams. The swagger. They would walk in every time as an underdog and we would find a new way to lose - so we absolutely deserved every singe bit of trash talk he spewed and I loved it.

It was the same shit at Stanford.

I have reduced my social media presence a lot, but Facebook memories always crack me up. I have one comment years ago where I claim that watching Harbaugh bitch and moan after every snap is like looking watching a baby with a diaper rash. I could not STAND that guy, still can't.

And oh man, it killed me that Arians would talk shit, and COULD talk shit. I wonder if the players hated him as much as I did, and that's why we never performed!?

MM really does have something going on here. And we have Schneider to thank for that.

Shaheed - his punt return was the catalyst.

Darnold - ugly at times but battled and hung in there. Impressive.

Walker was a machine.

The almost inexplicable, bizarre things that went on in this game... down 16 points, 581 yds allowed, 3 - 2pt conversions (one of them the result of a backward pass leading to a fumble) and an improbable OT victory... a laundry list of bewilderment.

What schneider has ben able to do after getting out from the disaster that was Carroll is remarkable. Seattle on top of the world - the Raiders are the NFL's leading dumpsterfire. Ouch. Despite this great win, I still think the Lambs might be better and I absolutely don't want to see them in the playoffs - I think this team is going to have a wake up call in the playoffs and get bounced early. I am not confident in this level of inconsistancy. They could win it all - but they HAVE to get out of thier own way - that's why I think next year will be a better team, more refined and experienced - and one more draft to close the ramaining roster holes.

Stanford is another place I really like - been to a lot of games there and in Berkeley and I love it when either of those two highly academic schools are good. Imagine playing for Arians - that dude gets his guys up to play - I bet they love him and it showed - while at the same time PC could no longer get his guys up for these games - looking back you were really seeing the evidence that PC was past his prime - that team was just not all there anymore and teams would stroll into seahawks stadium and punch them in the mouth. Also about this time Wilson was all consumed with himself and his shitty brand to be bothered to get it up on sunday's for anything other than personal highlights. Still roils my blood how that dude when from franchise face to self absorbed dickwad so fast. I will never forgive him for that turd performance vs the lambs that year.

P.S.
I Hate those uniforms they wore yesterday. The jerseys were super blah and the helmets looked muddled and tacky.

Just thinking about all the odd things in this game. Like, who the hell is Barner (6'6", 250lbs.)? Or Saubert (6'5", 250lbs.)?

Down 16 points.

The gutsy call for a 2 pt conversion in OT to win it. And then pull it off.

They had go for 2 in OT otherwise they lose the tie-breaker still if the game ends in a tie.

I think they should have gone for 2 regardless. Do you really have a good feeling of giving the Rams the ball back with 1 final chance to stick the knife in us with a few minutes left in OT, regardless of whether a tie helps them more or not?

I was kind of surprised MM actually got out of pussy mode and did the right thing. I was pissed at him for being a pussy on 4th an 1 in the first quarter.

It's my understanding the Rams would have gotten the ball back. Which means at best we fie of we kick. I am blown away that people actually thought we kick it. We had to go for two. A tie wasnt much better than a loss for us, but it was WAY better than a loss for the Rams. Was a no brainier.

There was 3:13 left plus the 2 minute warning so theoretically, they could have stopped them and got the ball back to try a game winning field goal but I agree that going for two was their best chance of winning. Especially with the way that the Rams moved the ball on their first overtime possession. If they had kicked it of it was probably about an 80% chance they wouldn't get the ball back.
