This was the first practice the Seahawks had in pads in two weeks. They were in full pads for the first hour, then out of pads apparently when Emmanwori got hurt.

“We had an opportunity to work at a different practice window,” Macdonald said, according to the pool report after the practice. “Which I thought was great with our guys’ cadence. Lot of spirit. Guys did a great job. We had a great practice.”

What is stated to be video of Seahawks safety Nick Emmanwori limping into the team’s hotel last night has surfaced.

The video shows the rookie safety getting out of a car and limping as he walks into the hotel.

Emmanwori suffered an ankle injury in Wednesday’s practice at San Jose State University and was listed as limited in practice.

My guess is they didn't mean the Final Friday practice of the season. Or before the playoffs, or before the NFCCG. So, yeah, I'd say it was the final practice before the Super Bowl.

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Thursday that rookie safety Nick Emmanwori is expected to play on Sunday in the Super Bowl despite suffering a low ankle sprain in practice.

Macdonald said Emmanwori is expected to participate in the team’s walkthrough on Thursday, but was unsure how much of if he will take part in the full practice. Emmanwori rolled his ankle in practice on Wednesday.

Again, Chancellor's injury was Friday, not Wednesday, and it was a bigger deal. I'm guess Nick E. is fine, but he might take more snaps off. Which means they move Spoon to his spot and we rely more on Riq. That's my guess. But Nick E. is gonna be on the field and I expect him to make a difference. No word on the rumor that Robert Kraft shot him with a tiny dart gun. But more on that story to come.
