I like Seattle's chances vs the Bears. The Bears have to go to Seattle and play that defense on a Monday Night Prime Time game. I just don't think they are ready for that. Seattle has been playing endless primetime games since late last season - they are built for this - we will see what Caleb Williams thinks of Nick and the Dark Side (also a great name for a Seattle grunge band!).
Outside of The Darnolds int - whoever the blame is on - Seattle completely dominated KC and made Mahomes look weak. Bears are talented, for sure, but we'll see how they do in the glare of Monday Night vs the champs who seem to be getting their swagger back. If we don 't turn the ball over, I think Seattle takes it. CHicago is feisty and Caleb a real talent, but MOnday Night in Seattle is a tough task.
Is this where Seattle goes on thier run, like last year? Price and Charbs will make a difference. Really really needs Price's speed. And despite the cringworthy int, The Darnold was slinging it all over the place - and by all over the place I mean to JSN and Barner. Really gotta get Horton and Rasheed more in the mix.

Didn't they finish third last year? Of course they have a cupcake schedule. The Patriots rode that shit all the way to the Super Bowl last year. It's what the NFL wants.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2026 5:35 amYeah, it's not good to throw an interception. I'm sure Darnold was kicking himself. But receivers running into each other had to be about as bonehead a move I've seen on a football field. Its interesting to me them getting a pass
Anyway, I'm wondering about the narrative of the game. For all the attention the Seahawks defense is getting could the narrative be more how over hyped the Chiefs have been? They really had a cupcake schedule. The Walker narrative was out of control, MVP? please. He's a good RB but he's not Barry Sanders.
Not to take anything away from the seahawks defense but shut down Walker and that's it. You look at who they have to face, Denver, NE. Falcons, 49ers, Rams. Honestly I'm watching that if I'm them wondering where's the hard part? I could see the Bears being a tougher opponent.

Well some of it was teams unexpectedly bad like the Chargers. And the schedule ahead looks to be tough enough, Denver, Buffalo, Jacksonville, 49ers, Rams. If they can make the SB it be legit. I'll just be curious going forward how well they hold upMichael K. wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2026 2:20 pmDidn't they finish third last year? Of course they have a cupcake schedule. Of course the Chargers suck - they are the Clippers of the NFL - destined to do nothing - ever - no matter how much talent they have. If there is one lesson to be gleaned - it should be that there are no easy games in the NFL. I refuse to overlook the Cardinals - they have embarrased us in the past under PC. Painful losses. We lost to the Redskins and the Donkeys this year - both teams we should have smoked. The team I think is about to go on a roll is the Lambs, and i think the 9ers are about to come back to earth. This is Seattle's time to make a run at the division - I think it is attainable.
If Seattle doesn't turn the ball over - they are the most unbeatable team in the league with that defense - and that offense can not only play complimentary ball, they can light it up. Just. No. Turnovers.

Well the Seahawks won a SB last season while leading the league in turnovers. TOs aren't good but on the other hand, I don't think you play just to avoid them, its controlled aggression.auroraave wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2026 3:39 pmOf course the Chargers suck - they are the Clippers of the NFL - destined to do nothing - ever - no matter how much talent they have. There doesn't seem to be a strong correlation between TOs and making a SB. Really its TO ratio
There is no strong, direct correlation between having a high number of regular-season turnovers and missing the Super Bowl, though extreme ball security or high turnover differential heavily influences individual game outcomes.
• Regular-Season Totals vs. Postseason Success: Teams with high or average regular-season turnover counts have still reached and won the Super Bowl if their overall roster, defense, or offense made up for the miscues. For example, the Pittsburgh Steelers led the NFL with 52 regular-season turnovers during the 1979 season and still went on to win Super Bowl XIV.
• Turnover Margin vs. Raw Turnovers: While raw turnover numbers in the regular season can fluctuate due to variance and luck, a positive turnover margin (takeaways minus giveaways) is a strong statistical predictor of winning games and reaching deep into the playoffs.
