if it's greatest player, regardless of draft position, Tez and Big Walt are the only two REALLY in the running. They could be easily argued as the best players in the league in their prime. Bobby Wagner is close, Kenny Easley too, but his career was cut short.

Best VALUE? RW, Kam, Chris Carson, Sherman, Sinclair with honorable mention to Derrick Fenner who was drafted in the 10th frickin' round, John Harris in the 7th or Dwayne Harper in the 11th.

Oh, and 2023 6th round pick and future All-Pro Jake Haener.

oh man, if we consider the cashout value, Russ wins this contest hands down. The only other contender might be Frank Clark, who got us 3 picks, which actually resulted in 6 MORE picks. It's just unfortunate one of those picks was LJ Collier, or he might've made a run at it.

The Wilson acquisition and subsequent trade is almost unheard of in the NFL. How many teams can say they drafted a 3rd round QB who helped them win (and lose) a SB, then traded that player away for a massive haul in return?
