They're not going to get a starting quality DL now so at least get a starting center ffs.
I don't agree with this. You may not get an all pro but there are several guys left who would be more than capable NFL starters.
Yeah if you could only get starters in the first round would be kind of tough to have 22 starters on game day.

And Lucas, Bryant, Walker and Woolen would like a word....

I see a lot of combinations like this in day 2 mocks.

2nd: JMC or Tippman

2nd: Hall or Ojulari

3rd: Dexter or Pickens

There were 8 DL taken yesterday. What do you guys think the probability for any remaining one that he becomes a productive starter. Yeah, it's non-zero but not great.

On the other hand, no centers have been taken yet.

all but one of them are edge rushers, though. Lots of good interior guys left - maybe not superstar level, but good. The probability that one of them becomes a productive starter is about 90%.

Schneider said they know they have to address the DL tomorrow.

I want Derick Hall and Zacch Pickens.
I would be ok with any combination of the prospects

Zacch Pickens
Keion White
John Michael Schmitz
Joe Tippman
Brian Branch
Zach Charbonnet
Sam LaPorta
Tucker Kraft
BJ Ojulari
Keeanu Benton
Byron Young
Derick Hall
where would Brian Branch play though? defensive backfield is pretty stacked. Same with the TEs. They'd have to be a decent upgrade to Parkinson to make a day 2 pick make sense.

I think there is a 100% chance that at least one of the remaining Defensive linemen in the draft becomes a productive starter. We don't even know that the guys that were drafted were the best players. Ika and Dexter and Benton have been rated as high as the 3rd best tackle in various mock drafts.

Apart from the edge/olb position, they need to find an ILB. Brooks is coming off an ACL and Bwag and Bush are signed to 1-year deals. There are some good ILBs left that can be very effective against the run. I would prioritized an ILB over and edge/olb.

Pretty hard to win without a solid DL. No sacks and no QB pressures. This team has a weak DL. Odd selections on day one. Cute though, our crew knows more than other teams.

Looking at the Hawks depth chart they have 1 SS, 1 NT, 1 LDE and 1 Center in Joey Hunt on the roster. And they only have 2 RBs.

It is pretty cool to see our WR depth chart with JSN added.
