It's amazing that they only gave up two TDs, one on a flea-flicker and another on what might well end up holding up as The Worst Play Of The Year. Meanwhile, as bad as the offense was the Hawks got it into the end zone three times and didn't have to kick any field goals.

is it just me, or is the officiating getting even worse? I saw a few plays where Clowney was basically getting tackled and held, blatantly. Also, since when does a defensive player twitching mean an off sides? That's utter nonsense. Will there ever be a pass interference call over turned thanks to the NFL's "Sorry we Fucked the Saints" new rule? Nope. More damage control to cover incompetence and/or biased officiating.

And WTF happened to the oline? I thought they would be a strength. They were a complete liability today. baffling.
What made you think they would be a strength? All that pre-season hype was just that.
Brown said they would be the best in the NFL. lol I watched that sack Ifedi gave up. The guy got to RW in about 1.1 seconds. He could have slowed him down more by just high fiving him on the way to the sack.

The only plays they stopped Clowney were the ones they tackled him on. It was ridiculous and That PI on Flowers.

Yeah, I hope Danny O'Neil realizes what an idiot he was this morning with his absurd simplistic views. And he said Clowney wasn't going to work out either right?

Yup but if Ziggy is injury prone his "combined" 12 sacks might be right on the money.

DK was a beast. I hoped for something like yesterday. The only way it coulda been better would have been for him to win a jump ball in the endzone.

I agree, the officiating was terrible, and I dont even think Clowney was the only one constantly getting grabbed...yet we still have five sacks. How about the ball that was forty yards over the head of the receiver and the ref comes in laughing. He knew he effed up, but they just decided no biggie, we will call illegal contact instead of PI.

Let's hope Thompsen doesn't see the field anymore, that they can scheme up a way to help Ifedi at least slow down a pass rush, and that Britt and Iupatti improve.
