It was nice not having to watch Shenault and Williams on kick/punt returns playing hot potato. Regarding Laumea, was he actually good or was he just "not a total trainwreck" like Bradford and Haynes?

100%! Kick returns looked smooth - even though they were fair catches, dude looked confident. I think Laumea is the real deal. We need more games to confirm, but he was a baller at Utah where he was well coached. Interior line play was not a liability - and we have two top shelf tackles - so it could be all coming together.

Ha! I def think Utah is a much better program - Wittingham has been there for a long time - remember who he replaced? Urban Meyer. I'm not giving up on Haynes just yet, it is baffling how poor he looks, but to be fair, the NFL is a big step up, the size and the speed you ain't gonna find playing Syracuse. However, I do think there is a big learning curve just playing for a season, having to adapt, understand what other teams and players are doing and their capabilities. Everyone's learning curve is different, I am hoping year two will see growth. We expect these kid to excel in year one, but that's not always the case. Patience may be a virtue, or, in this case, he may just be a turd.

Arizona has a stout run game, they ain't no joke, and Seattle did well against them. I would imagine the game plan is going to be stop the run, force Jordan Love to beat them - and that secondary. Love also doesn't look like a scrambler, another wrinkle Seattle had to address vs Arizona. Seattle will probably be the underdog at home - justifiably so - and that's exactly what a young hungry team can use as fuel for motivation - a team already coming together and seeing how good they can be. I don't necessarily think Seattle is the better team, but they may be playing better and mentally tougher right now, and the 'chip on the shoulder' in Prime Time is a very real thing.

This is the kind of game Carroll would have this team jacked up for - be kinda cool if he came to the game.

I was able to attend this game 7 rows up on the 45 behind the Hawk’s bench as a birthday present from my son in law. First time we’ve controlled the line of scrimmage in “forever”. I also had a feeling Arizona just “showed up “ and couldn’t get off their heels from our two picks. There were multiple times Murray could have run and chose not to which was bizarre. Thank you Jesus

Was there as well Row 19 behind the Hawks bench. My birthday and a Cards beat down. Fun times

Nope, not even close. The guy is cashing checks. Imagine making the kind of money he makes and needing to get paid to study the playbook? Dude is a coach killer. I hated Kingsbury, and he never deserved to be a head coach at the NFL level. Didn't even win at the college level...but he deserved better than what he got with Murray. The funny thing is? Murray was Kliff's boy!

Murray doesn't break out and run anymore because the quicker he gets the game over and stays upright? The quicker he can go play Call of Duty.

AZ was the darling of the NFL until our Defense punished them three weeks ago. And I agree, GB at home in PrimeTime, and then the Sam Darnold lead Vikings? I feel a shit ton better about these two games now than I did going into the Bye. As you said, Fantastic job by John to continue to build the roster and this coaching staff to get stuff straightened out. It has been mentioned several times that they had "exit interviews" during the bye week. Seems to have worked.

Yep, and can turn the ball over even faster than Geno, when playing real teams. 10 INTs and 4 fumbles lost. We get annoyed with Geno being loose with the football. Geno has 12 INTs and no fumbles lost.

They beat Jacksonville 12 to 7. Needed OT to beat the Bears and beat Arizona by one last week. Don't be all that impressed by what they did against a shitty Atlanta team this week. Minnesota is a paper champ. Sure, they could beat us, but I like our chances the way our defense is now playing. If the over under on turnovers for Minnesota that game is 2? Take the over.
