Re: Seahawks' Free Agent Tracker
Just signed four time Pro Bowler DeMarcus Lawrence to a three-year, 42 million dollar contract. He's always been very good against the pass and the run, but he only played four games last year and he's 32. I don't know about you guys, but I'm thinking this money should have gone to the o-line instead.
Re: Seahawks' Free Agent Tracker
Lawrence added, Cupp possible but the O Line still sucks pond water
Re: Seahawks' Free Agent Tracker
It's disgusting that JS couldn't at least throw the 12s a bone or two and pretend he's going to address the O-line.
If you really want to be ill thinking about JS - consider the Broncos have their Franchise QB, made it to the playoffs last year,
all while eating RW's contract. Did we win that trade?
The fuck Rams sold their souls to win a super bowl going all in on big money FAs. Their coach almost quit rather than having
to deal with it - but they kicked our ass last year and went to the playoffs.
The 49ers are obviously trimming down to suck this year. Will the Seahawks or the 49ers complete their rebuild faster?

I'm not expecting some earth shaking change of direction with the Oline. I haven't focused on what exactly they have now and what they need to address, other than he has his tackles. For me there's the aspect of just achieving some continuity.
They signed Josh Jones, didn't see that mentioned here. That very much looks like your typical JS signing. One year $4.75 mil, versatile offensive lineman.

PFF hasn't graded him out any higher than 49.3 overall in any season.

Rolling with the definition of insanity plan every year is insanity. Continuity of suckage is worthless and what good is Versatile if the guys sucks. He just sucks at multiple positions.

Laken is gone, so they have a black hole at LG, a below avg Center, and some practice squad level trash at RG. And being versatile isn't a plus when you are bad at every position.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 11:40 pmI'm not expecting some earth shaking change of direction with the Oline. DeMarcus Lawrence, 32, played four games due to injury last year. Three years, 42M, but only 18M guaranteed. So far it looks like we are throwing a patchwork FA quilt against the wall and seeing what sticks.

Don't get me wrong if there is anything still in the tank he brings some nasty to the Dfence.
But that is A LOT of money they could've given to Mekhi Becton. Just sayin.
