A wasted pick with all the other needs this team has. John is a fucking dumb bitch.
They have two years to develop him into Darnolds replacement, RW was considered a wasted pick
By who? Did the Seahawks have 3 veteran QBs with starting experience on the roster when they drafted him? And Russell had a lot better college career than Milroe. It's a bad comparison.

It was ripped, from RW wiki
. Wilson was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round (75th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft,[92] the sixth quarterback selected.[93] The Seahawks received significant criticism for their selections in the draft, and Wilson in particular, as they had just signed free agent Matt Flynn
Many questioned the Seahawks' decision to select Russell Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, as they did not believe his game would translate to the pros, and Seattle already broke the bank on Matt Flynn in free agency. Mel Kiper was one of the unfortunate experts who showed a glaring lack of expertise in his evaluation of the undersized signal-caller. He compared him to fellow sub-six-foot quarterback Seneca Wallace and believed he belonged in the fourth round.

This should be interesting, JS hasn't drafted many QBs but I think he really built a reputation for it with the RW pick. So here's another one, for JS to use a 3rd on him indicates he putting him in the same category as RW seems to me

Tons of pundits hated the Wilson pick.

Peter Schrager has a pretty famous video.

Now the Seahawks have 5 QB's.
Seneca 2.0

I'm hoping we pick up a couple more QBs, though. I like having seven on the roster or practice squad,
Lol he's not Seneca...

He's Taysom Hill until he develops his passing.

Which might be fun. I like having him on running packages.
That is a great gadget player to have for now and I think he does develop over time. I love the pick. I could grow on the tight end they draft.
I am really looking at WR, Interior O-line

Here is what could happen on Saturday. I am thinking we would maybe offer up a fairly decent pick to get somebody’s WR at some point.

I don't recall that. Maybe there were a lot of media pundits out there at the time that thought Flynn was going to be the answer.

So why didn't he develop over time at Alabama? He actually regressed over the course of last year. Could it be he's just fucking dumb and will never be a viable QB in the League?

Milroe was the man early in the season. Bama kind of went to shit and they didn't exactly have a coach that has much experience bringing them back from that. But everyone loved Milroe in September and early October, as I recall.

It's a bad take, because of guys like Mike Vick and Lamar Jackson, but some guy was quoted in KIRO this week (yeah, I know the changes the name, but I'll never remember it) as saying Milroe has the best running tools of any QB ever.

There was someone here early in the season that wanted the Seahawks to get him, they should stick their hand up, I didn't think there be a chance at that point but here we are. It's worth a 3rd for the intriqe

Nick Saban
"He's gonna give the Seahawks an element of offense that nobody else in this draft can give anybody. Because this guy is fast, he's explosive and look, he can throw the ball. He's got a strong arm. He's a great deep-ball thrower. He just needs a little refinement and consistency in the passing game and he can be an outstanding player."
