Like I said those sorts of players get weeded out before this point in their careers. I don't think it applies to Howell but if it does ' he needs to be weeded out, that's a cancer, and at QB?
The game is the tip of the spear, the work is being done at a practice, particularly in terms of evaluation. If Howell isn't practicing hard he shouldn't be on the active roster, and if you're saying they don't have a chance to evaluate that at practice then there's something wrong with their practice. That's what practice is about, and I'm guessing being lazy and unmotivated would be the number one thing they'd be looking for.
