From seahawks.com:

"Never mind that the interceptions were only partially the fault of Smith—one should have been caught by Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but instead was deflected for a pick, one came when Smith was hit in the arm as he threw, and one happened when the intended target, tight end AJ Barner, appeared to have been held—the fact remains, as Smith sees it, that he threw those passes, so the blame ultimately falls on him."
Good on Smith, but the ball to JSN maybe SHOULD have been caught? But it was a bit behind him. The other two were poor decisions, IMO. Those are throws he made against Detroit.

It would have been a great catch by JSN. The deflection was bad luck.
He never should have thrown that on 1st down. He always holds the ball to long. Should have dumped off to Walker who was open in the flat.
He never should have throw that. Barner wasn't remotely open and wouldn't have scored if it was complete.

A good O line is like a rising tide, it lifts all ships. It gives the QB time to scan the field and the receivers time to finish their routes. It opens lanes for the RBs and just generally demoralizes the opposition.
There's a reason the oldest saying in football exists: "The game is won (or lost) in the trenches".

I agree with this. On the pick 6 play early on he had an easy dump off open to I believe the RB. It was probably a 50-50 play if he score there but he does get a positive play and probably something like the ball at the 2?

He took way too many sacks. That was a direct result of standing in the pocket after getting behind the sticks.
