I'm thinking 24-16 Hawks, no cakewalk. My Week One upset is the Whiners spanking the overhyped jet-lagged Lambs in Melbourne 23-20.

Silly boy. The Niners are spending something like a week in Melbourne before the game. The Lambs are flying in about 24 hours before the game, so it stands to reason they will be more jet-lagged.

Yeah, it's gonna be interesting what they roll out. It's funny we don't really have a clue. 107 yards is pretty high in my mind, that be a heck of a game. I don't see him getting enough carries to get over a 100 yards. I would guess like 15 carries, so like 75-80 yards.

Nothing to see here. Pats did make an effort but not at all convinced they've half-way fixed their OL. Even minus Emmanwori and other safeties, expecting the D to do work again. Pats prolly try to run a little more, dont think that works real good against Leonard and Murph.

I was trying to reverse doom us and exorcise the evil spirits and bad voodoo that were haunting this game. What a preseason slopfest. Giant W to win that ugly, afraid to look at the penalty yards lol.

Nice half-right prediction lol. Not that I enjoyed the entire cardiac experience last night, but this team learned a lot more by facing adversity right out of the gate, instead of just playing whupass on the Pats for four quarters.

Can't say enough about Lock. 16-22, no picks or fumbles, and a QBR of 113.3. To have your backup step in after only five plays and play solid enough to beat the defending AFC champs was no small thing. Fleury had to immediately improvise on the fly in his first game, too. After Darnold went down, the Hawks made adjustments and despite all the false starts and penalties, they grew stronger throughout the game. It was good to see that we can win while missing QB1 and key starters on D. I'm encouraged.
