So is KC a fraud, or is SEA a fraud? They beat a 5-0 team, then lay an egg against CHI. We've all seen teams rip it up one next week, then shit the bed the next. But that Bears game seemed to expose some real flaws.Nwadventure wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2026 12:05 amOther than beating KC, this season has been such a Face/Plant -
Post Mortem: Sea v Chicago

I think Seattle's problem is a trickle down effect of Fleury - his playbook is too cerebral or the players cannot understand and/or execute it, his play calling seems to be way off target, especially situationally, and as the offense continues to stall out and flounder, and turn the fucking ball over, the vaunted defense is finally starting to crack. The talent is there, it's in thier heads. The reality is the defense cannot win the games - they can keep us in it, but the offense simply HAS TO PRODUCE SOMETHING. Aside from the bumbling ineptness - field goals simply are not going to get it done and we rely far far far too much on that. You have to score TD's in this league, period. It's demoralizing to the whole team. This puzzle is like a rubiks cube - we are really only a click away from being all aligned and dominating, if we met the bears in the playoffs I think we could beat them. Injuries are not helping and realigning the oline mid season is another huge impact. We very well may have been better off leaving Bradford in - at least for the short term - but you can't theoretically bench your #1 pick from last year. A lot of really tough decisions.douche wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2026 2:50 pmSo is KC a fraud, or is SEA a fraud? They beat a 5-0 team, then lay an egg against CHI. There's no need to 'blow it up' that nonsense is ridiculous. Lots of draft picks coming - we fill up where we can and trust JS to make smart, strategic acquisitions - as he always seems to do. And get a big bodied, physical receiver. No, don't sell the farm for trades. Stay the course, we will be fine.
KC is starting to fade - years and years of success eventually take a toll - age and constant low end of the round drafting positioning - and you begin to decline. It's inevitable.

I don't think they made him the emergency QB last week because they didn't want to risk having him throw the ball. Has to be something there.trharder wrote: ↑Wed Nov 04, 2026 11:08 pmAs usual, we don't know the extent of the elbow. If it's just like a sore elbow that they were letting heal up naturally since he probably wouldn't play anyway, then they could probably cortizone it and load him up on Toradol and he'd be fine, but they don't tell us stuff like that.
