Right, how many of his sacks are a result of guys not getting open or just poor blocking or maybe him not utilizing his legs like he should. If he were playing like LaMar Jackson is playing, this wouldn't even be a discussion.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 4:49 pmWell, they address the issue on the right side by using a 6th lineman, for one. Wilson's mobility is another factor. But how many more points would the Seahawks score if his sacks were cut in half?ThePro wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 4:33 pmSo the offensive success is in spite of the Oline? How is that possible?Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 3:57 pmIfedi and Fluker are terrible pass blockers which is the main reason Wilson is one of the most sacked QBs in the league. Britt stinks and Hunt is undersized. Iupati is about done. At the very least they should look for a center this offseason. I would say they should look at a tackle but the good ones will be gone by the time they get their first pick after trading down 2 or 3 times.

I'm sorry but Jackson isn't the template for QB play. Wilson is a much better QB than Jackson .HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 5:40 am

Let's see.. How many career wins does Jackson have? Or for that matter Playoff wins? How many Superbowls has he been to? Do they call Jackson a future Hall of famer? They do with Wilson. Wilson still might win MVP this year. Jackson is good but not even close the experience or resume of Wilson. Only a fool would dispute this.
Re: Huard calls it
Yeah if I was betting the over on a MNF game vs. the Rams in LA in November I would probably take Jackson. If I wanted to win a game in January or February I would take RW all day every day.ThePro wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 3:33 pmLet's see.. How many career wins does Jackson have? Sure, Russ has tons more experience than Lamar and Russ is clutch. I'm one of the biggest Russ fans. He is the man, but Jackson is playing better ball right now. You have your opinion, I have mine. Just walk away ProThePro wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 3:33 pmLet's see.. How many career wins does Jackson have? Or for that matter Playoff wins? How many Superbowls has he been to? That's not what you said. You implied that Wilson needs to play more like Jackson. "Use his legs more" . No he doesn'tLogainismyhero wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 4:14 pm

"Frustrated" was how Pete Carroll described Penny's reaction to his limited role. "But he has practiced marvelously. The last three weeks have been his best three weeks of practice. We really wanted him to play (Sunday) and get him in there and see what would happen because he's looked so good in practice. So I thought [running backs coach] Chad Morton did a really good job of rotating him and looking for his opportunity with the intent of getting a shot out there. He came through beautifully. It was a really sweet game for him."
"They all want to play, they all deserve to play," Carroll said. "It's just sometimes it just doesn't happen and it's how you deal with it. What he did is he got better. He's trimmer, he's faster. Look how fast he looked today. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon. And that's because of the hard work. He got a little bit of fresh-legs benefit and he took full advantage of it."
