What does it mean if Tampa Bay shows no interest in Geno?

It would likely mean that they can't spend the FA dollars on Geno given its current cap situation (-$55M 2nd worst in the NFL).

As you know, Canales just coached Geno and the passing offense through a season of team passing records. So it's difficult to consider Canales would signal to his new bosses anything bad about Geno, especially if he can lure Geno to Florida with a chance at repeating offense success. If TB can figure out its cap challenges they might find a way to get into the running for Geno.

An interesting side note: TB has the 82nd pick in the 3rd round while Seattle has the 83rd pick. These two picks are within the current draft projection area where Hendon Hooker gets picked, whom is often recognized as the #3 QB pick in this draft. So if the Seahawks are having dreams about Hooker then they might need to make an earlier move before TB scoops him at #82. However, I'm in the belief that if Hooker is on track with his ACL recovery he'll be drafted in the 2nd round and possibly late in the 1st.

guys, the ONLY "pundit" saying Geno was following Canales or whatever his name is to Tampa was a troll twitter account named Baker Breadman. It's not a thing worthy of discussion.

Its not a question of pundits... Tampa needs a QB, Geno is going to be the number one or two rated FA QB on the market if he chooses, Tampa just signed the guy he has been working with for the last four years as their OC. There certainly is the possibility of geno landing in Tampa

There's also a possibility that Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Joe Montana come out of retirement and sign with the Seahawks. Of course there's a possibility, but Seahawks have the next 3 weeks to sign Geno and can franchise him before the Bucs would even have a chance, so I'd say there is next to zero chance *at this point*. The only way Geno goes ANYWHERE other than Seattle is if contract negotiations go horribly wrong in the next couple weeks so until/unless that happens it's a non-thing.
