Yeah I was thinking while we were left to stew in our frustration and Depression last night I am sure DK has dozens (hundreds?) of hotties in his phone that were happy to let him take his frustrations out on/in them. lolMichael K. wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 2:30 pmJust a flat out give up. Embarrassing. I doubt they care that much though. They don't exactly play like a group of guys that are worried about wins and losses. I guess in the grand scheme of things, it really is just their job, right? Geno has nothing to prove anymore, DK gets nothing but star attention because he once ran down Budda Baker and he looks like a fucking DC Comic Here, the Defense just flat out sucks and no one seems to give a shit about it because nothing changes, the O Line stopped playing once the two Tackles went down and our OC curled up into a ball because he saw his old buddy McVey and Aaron Donald. It was pathetic. Yet, they will go about their day making a shit ton of money, this year and next. So, yeah, I'd say this effects us more than them.
I typed it yesterday. But when you look at the people you are watching the game with during the second half, and then look at the players on the sidelines? I really doubt they are too awful worked up about this. Some of that is because Pete has already blown sunshine up their ass about how this is a great opportunity, and they could have just done this or that and they would have won... blah fucking blah. Right about now? This group looks like the Rah Rah motivation might be lost on this group of soft motherfuckers. They might need a guy like Dan Campbell to come in and act like this is a man's sport, kick some ass or take a seat on the sidelines.
I'd really like to see a bunch of moves. That was a DOGSHIT Rams team that kicked our ass. This team doesn't have the desire, the talent or the scheme to go anywhere, and Geno isn't the answer. So? Just lose a bunch of football games and load up again. Last year was a mirage. Look at the second half of the season? It's a bad football game that started 6 and 3 with some flukey wins over poorly run organizations. They also lost EVERY GAME THEY PLAYED AGAINST THE NFC SOUTH.

Makes me sick, dire need at DT. And John picks a short not fast CB. But, he hits and trash talks a lot. Perfect Pete guy.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 5:57 amYeah, it was the position of greatest need and they passed on what was considered the most talented def tackle to come out in a decade. while this was a pretty epic stumble out of the gate - thre needs to be some context to all these over reactions. Lambs have a vet coaching staff - an offensive wizard and a QB who simply out matched the looks seattle D was giving them - and they did a masterful job - they should be commended. When Seattle went dime - they ran it. When Seattle loaded up the box, they threw it - it was a master class. Sadly, Seattle made no adjustments.
seattle is not a team that is built to storm out of the gate - there is too much youth - but coupled with decent depth - this is a team that is more likely to hit a stride later in the season. I don't think PC and JS are looking at September as the target for success but rather November/December as far as this team coming together. Yeah, it was a shit show, there are no good take aways except Walker looking good.
The defense was a total disaster on every level - if they cannot contain the LOS the strength of the team (allegedly the secondary) becomes a liability as opposing offenses will simply run the ball. This is why I was hoping for Carter in the draft - the dline is the most important unit on the team, IMO.
These guys will be alright. Credit to the Lambs for coming to play. So reminiscent of all those shitty cardinal teams stumbling into Seattle and all the fans were like "We're at home against the cards - Seattle 58-0" only to watch Seattle sleep walk through another loss to an underwhelming opponent.

Good call going back to calling them the Lambs. Seems me calling them the Hams really pissed them off! lol What a shit show...auroraave wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 3:00 pmwhile this was a pretty epic stumble out of the gate - thre needs to be some context to all these over reactions. More from Pete believing you can't win until the fourth quarter? In this case, the fourth quarter of the season?auroraave wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 3:00 pmseattle is not a team that is built to storm out of the gate - there is too much youth - but coupled with decent depth - this is a team that is more likely to hit a stride later in the season. I get what you are saying, but we made the playoffs on the strength of a six and three start last year, with a young team. I've said it before, we get THAT Geno? This team is fucked. I get what you are saying about Stafford mastering the offense and getting them into the right play. But, I thought that was what Geno did that Russ couldn't? Why couldn't he do it yesterday?
It was a piss poor effort, and it started with a coaching staff that was flat out whooped by the Rams staff. Should be embarrassing, but I don't think it is. I just don't see a group that is all that fired up or caring. I wonder if you could have an honest conversation with Wagner about the mind set of the coaches and players back then as opposed to now? I mean, DK looked like an idiot picking fights out there, but he might have been the only guy that acted like this wasn't acceptable! I don't see much changing. I think this scheme on defense is shit, I think Hurt is TERRIBLE, and I don't think we have the talent to make up for it. I also think Geno is Geno. I realize I was dead wrong last year, but yesterday was what I expected out of him last year. We were down 1 when he got the ball back and we did SHIT the rest of the afternoon. He was cooked. And? Instead of trying to get K9 involved? Our staff decided to double down on Geno. In a game that we lead at the half and only trailed by one TD until there just under the ten minute mark of the fourth quarter.
We got the ball back down one? Walker gains five yards on first, Geno two straight incompletions. Punt.
We get it back down four? Walker gets us to third and four with a six yard run. Geno incomplete. Punt.
We get it back down eleven? Geno completes one of three passes for two yards. Punt.
Get it back down fourteen and DK decides to negate an eight yard completion by taunting.
Pretty embarrassing. Maybe Walker not being involved isn't all on Waldron, I mean, the defense is just flat out shit, and we will never have the ball. The Rams drives.
16 plays, 75 yards, 9:13 TD
3 plays and punt. Mostly because they had a personal foul and a delay of game.
7 plays 37 yards, 2:12 Blocked FG
6 plays, 33 yards, 0:31, Missed FG
10 plays, 75 yards, 6:04, TD
9 plays, 60 yards, 5:14, FG
14 plays, 79 yards, 6:19, TD
9 plays, 40 yards, 4:12, FG
9 plays, 32 yards, 3:05, FG
So, we forced one punt and were lucky enough to effect the kicking game in the first half. Otherwise this game is even worse. Yes, I am pissed that ew didn't try to get Walker involved, and yes, maybe don't go 3 and out, 4 and out, 3 and out and 3 and out on your ONLY FOUR POSSESSIONS OF THE SECOND HALF. But Jesus. Look at those drives! By a QB that missed almost all of last year and a team without Cooper Kupp and Andrew Whitworth. Disgusting. This defense is Charles Barkley Terrible.

He's fucked then. We supposedly have the best WRing core in the NFL, and that was his performance against the Rams. Wait until we play good teams.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 3:22 pm

On Geno's contract
“It’s a good deal for the club, a really good message to everybody on the outside that this is a good place and things are going in the right direction and we’re fired up about it,” Carroll said, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times
