The closer we get to this showdown against the Whiners, the better I'm feeling about it. Watched some of our press conferences today with MM, Kupp...this team is cool, confident and quietly focused.

No popping off, no bulletin board material this week, no team drama or distractions...none of it. Like Final Exam Week in college lockdown. Just a business as usual button-down suit and briefcase road trip. I get the feeling they've been quietly assembling a healthy 53-man squad of assassins and headhunters for Week 18, for just such a team-defining moment as this.

The win against the Rams was special, but I'm hoping this Saturday against SF is the one that nobody can ask any questions about officiating or bad calls being the difference. I think we have the better and deeper team going in right now.

the one thing i dislike about the weighting is it puts us in position of sometimes hoping to actually be wrong, rather than right. Been rooting for the Ravens, irritated that they're losing to DK-less Steeler team until i looked and saw that both Michael and DT have more points assigned to them than i do. So I'm better off being wrong on this one. Still don't know if i can root for the terrible towels though thanks to Bill Leavy.

Thanks Darren, and yeah, probably did come down to that Packer game. i switched to the Vikes Saturday once i realized GB was locked into the 7 seed. and almost missed the whole week entirely, forgot to make picks until late Thursday, lucky there was no game that night.
