I mentioned that one earlier. I don't remember who the coach for the Jets was, but he stated at some point in time that he had never seen a team less prepared in his career coaching in the NFL.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 1:18 amI just looked at all the season openers and the only one that might have been worse was in '97 during the Dennis Erickson era when we lost at home 41-3 to the Jets. Maybe also a 17-0 loss to the Bears in '90 when Chuck Knox started the season in the run-and-shoot and Dave Krieg couldn't do it.

So where's the photos of Pete from the 4th quarter with that deer in the headlights look? There-s gotta be some out there.

Call me crazy, but I think they'll come out on fire against the Lions. Everybody is pissed about that second half, and will have something to prove.
Plus I'll fix it all by selecting the Seahawks to lose, which seems to work pretty well. I picked the Seahawks to win, so the whole thing was essentially my fault. I'll strive to be better, one game at a time, trust the process.

I didn't see anyone besides fans pissed about anything, but I sure hope you are right.SeattleAddict wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 5:01 pmCall me crazy, but I think they'll come out on fire against the Lions. Everybody is pissed about that second half, and will have something to prove.

The whole game, particularly the second half, the whole team looked/seemed to be not fired up. It was odd, un-Seahawk like. The only exception I noticed was Jarran Reed - he seemed hyped up all game and PISSED at the end.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2023 5:14 pm

I have no explanation for it. Historically, though, the Seahawks have followed a dud like this with a good game. If not, this could be a long season.
