CHAMPS!!!

And this game wasn't anywhere near as close as the score and stats say. We missed wide-open TDs to JSN and Shaheed, K-9 had the TD called back on the bullshit holding penalty, and the Fatriots got 2/3 of their yardage in garbage time. We easily could have won this game like 45-7.

But whatever. The real Super Bowl was against the Hams.
Could have been worse and was still a blowout! So fucking fun!

Congrats to all Hawks fans. I didn't want to jinx you by saying this was going to be a one-sided affair. I didn't think the Patriots deserved to be on the same field as you.

Omens are not good for the fall though. Only 3 cities/metro areas have had a Super Bowl win followed by a World Series later the same year. :ugeek:

1969 Jets & Mets
1979 Steelers & Pirates
2004 Patriors & Red Sox

Enjoy the party.

I went to a Mariners Red Sox game at Fenway with Mike and his wife. He is definitely one of us. A brother from a different Queen Mother. :)

MM likes to talk about complementary football, that was like a master class in it. And he's in his second year as a HC. His whole career is ahead of him

All the talk about Darnold's unsteadiness his TOs. That first Rams game being the low point. He's the first QB in NFL history to go an entire playoffs without a turnover

Perhaps the talking heads will finally STFU about it but probably not

Highest paid punter in the game sure earned his paycheck! LOL Every single facet of the game was pretty much owned by Seattle last night.

But it was an issue, he led the league in turnovers didn't he? I don't think it's about them shutting up, it's about him solving it. He's gotten so he's comfortable relying on his defense and STs. That's the complementary aspect that came through for me

Exactly, it's like MM talks about complementary football it's like coach speak but then you see it unfolding. And for as good as the Rams are, they are terrible at it
