Atlanta fires their WR coachMichael K. wrote: ↑Sun Sep 21, 2025 8:58 pmNeither look ready for the NFL game tight now. But I never thought Browning would be. Lots of young QBs look incredibly over matched right now though. Makes you wonder if DCs have made the necessary adjustments? Looking like running the ball is even more of a necessity right now. KC can't run, they are 0 and 2 with Pat Mahomes at QB.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Sep 21, 2025 7:14 pmFormer UW quarterbacks Browning and Penix having horrible games as CIN and ATL are getting destroyed by the Vikings and Panthers.![]()
The Falcons' offense sputtered in the disastrous performance, never reaching the red zone. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had the worst game of his young career, throwing two interceptions, including a backbreaking pick-six.
Penix has not thrown a touchdown pass to a wide receiver or a tight end this season. His lone touchdown pass was to running back Bijan Robinson on a checkdown that Robinson took 50 yards in Week 1. Atlanta has just one touchdown over its past eight quarters.

Re: Around the League
hey, be thankful you aren't an Eagles fan Michael lol
So think of this as more of a plea from someone who watches these games and wants them to be entertaining. Philadelphia is paying wide receivers A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith a combined $57 million a year. It's paying its quarterback $51 million a year. I get that it's all about winning games and it doesn't matter how it looks and blah blah blah. But maaaan ... don't tell me it has to be ball control and the same hideous-looking rugby play every time you're in fourth-and-1. People are paying for parking, dang it. Throw the ball! Be entertaining! After all, you're good at it!

Right? Again, starting out three and oh and being the defending Super Bowl champions isn't entertaining to their fans? Yikes. It's like the Ranger fan on SM a few months ago that told me he'd trade their WS Ring for the position the Mariners were in. At the time we were third in the Wild Card race!

Yeah, he made some post about how awesome the Mariner farm system was and how we are always "competitive". I told him we had one playoff appearance since 2001 and they have a ring that isn't even a year old. He told me he'd trade their ring for our situation. Stupid. I guess unless we win the next two! LOL
Re: Around the League
So here is a potential good/bad idea for the Seahawks at the trade deadline. Trade a 6th rd pick to the Dolphins for Tyreek Hill. My guess is that he is still owed approximately $20 million in salary, but consider the potential offense that would result. He is not guaranteed any money in 2026, so he could be an easy cap cut. YES, I know he is an asshole and a pinhead, but he is a great deep threat that would really help the offense be better...if he is not hurt and wants to play here.
