It's what I was saying before, it's the pair of longest SB odds coming into the season ever. Nobody saw either of themauroraave wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 5:06 pmwhere are all thse game predictions? I think this is gonna be a battle with NE - hoping we can smoke 'em bu expecting them to be very formidable. I keep landing on 24-10, but maybe 24-20 good guys. Is this not the most unexpected Super Bowl run ever? Never saw this coming.

33 to 16 Seahawks. And it won't be that close. New England scores late to save face.
Re: Super Bowl Hype and Style Thread
Now that this team has a real coach with a real game plan, it's SEA all the way.
SEA 34, NE 10
I really hope the Kubiak situation doesn't affect that.

The notable moment from media day of the seahawks and patriots first SB meeting
"I'm here so I won't get fined."
Re: Super Bowl Hype and Style Thread
Golden has to be the most colorful Seahawk this century! Yes, that was before ever setting foot on the field as a pro, his first fall camp. The dude spread controversy on and off the field, starting with that, then with the absolute blow-up blindside block on some poor Cardinal, the Fail Mary, the Russell's wife rumors, Percy Harvin Punchout, etc., etc... A friend i had took a framed photo of the Fail Mary catch to him to be autographed, and had a photo taken of Golden as he presented that to him, along with a carton of Top Potmaoling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 5:05 amPlus didn't Golden hit Top Pot Donuts downstairs one early morning in Bellevue at the Hyatt or somewhere when he was drafted and supposed to be in his room, but he got access to the closed kitchen somehow and maybe banged the Donut Girl who let him in and got donuts besides?57reasons wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 4:23 amfunny, of our 3 SBs so far, the one that was by far the most successful may have been the one with the most distraction. remember the Golden Tate-Percy Harvin punchout just on the eve of that? not to mention the rumors of he and Russell's wife.maoling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 02, 2026 3:49 amAll these wanker stories smell like east coast fake news Cheez Whiz, plus butt-hurt Whiners and Lambs' fans and other mom's basement boys trying to stir up shit for hits.
This team is dialed in, our tightest team ever in 50 years; doubt the coaches and org are going to let hype noise distract everybody in the run-up.
Except for Riq.
Re: Super Bowl Hype and Style Thread
So, hype aside and Wednesday press zoo, does MM put this team in lockdown mode starting Thursday? So much noise like Kubiak is gone, team is for sale...Darnold is a fag until he wins the Big One; how do you maintain discipline when Riq wants a cheeseburger at the Hotel?
Or does MM let them be free and dig the rarest vibe because this team and staff won't be the same next year after we get poached? They preach individuality and personal responsibility in the same breath at VMAC. Pretty good coach who isn't even 40, walked into it and is managing that in his second year while guiding his team to a SB.
I do not know.
We do not care.
What I like is so many vets on this team have never even sniffed a Super Bowl in the trenches. They know it is likely their last hurrah for a shot at the ring and to hoist the Lombardi at a parade. I don't think they are going to mess this up. They will self-police in these final few days of run-up. To win this fucker in Ninersville, in front of their asshat fans and also exorcise the dark tampon stain of XLIX at the same time seems like Destiny tonight.

I think Kupp will step up and have a few words for these guys. Nothing to worry about.maoling wrote: ↑Wed Feb 04, 2026 4:19 amWhat I like is so many vets on this team have never even sniffed a Super Bowl in the trenches. Re: Super Bowl Hype and Style Thread
Speaking of Kupp, he had this to say terms what it takes make a SB. I can see it, I'd call it discipline, sticking to your lane, your assignment. The key is playing as a team but that's what's most difficult
“It’s about playing for each other,” Kupp said. “I think one of the things that I’ve noticed that the best teams I’ve been a part of, guys play for the guy next to them. It’s a cliché thing, but it’s the hardest thing to do when you get to the NFL because there’s so much at stake. And it’s hard for people with their own ambitions, their own families and all this different stuff that’s going on, to commit to the belief that truly the best thing for them and the best thing for our team is that the team succeeds.
“The most powerful thing you can do is have a group of guys that are playing for something outside of themselves and we’ve had a lot of guys embody that this year.”
Re: Super Bowl Hype and Style Thread
No hype. No style. Just bad. If he just rolled it, they'd say that.
