Wow! I'd be shocked if that happens. I mean what kind of message would that be sending Russell Wilson? Some writers should have their content screened before they are allowed to publish crap like that.

Ok wtf... Rob Stanton gets all hot and bothered yesterday when I said I would not be happy with the Hawks trading back twice and then reaching for Robert Hunt with their first pick in the second round. I told him I would be at worst OK with them drafting Hunt with a 3rd round pick we acquire for trading back out of the first... but most likely would like to see him drafted at our compensatory selection in the 3rd round.

He first says:

How do you know Hunt will be there in the 3rd?... (literally not my concern at all, my concern is drafting a player who doesn't have that value too high... if he's not there then I don't care.)

He then says... There is no way Hunt is going to be available at our 3rd round comp pick.

And has the nerve to post this mock draft today:

2.40 Raekwon Davis, DL, Alabama
2.59 Lucas Niang, OT, TCU
3.71 Akeem Davis-Gaither, OLB, Appalachian State
3.71 Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
3.80 Darrell Taylor, EDGE, Tennessee
3.101 A.J. Dillon, RB, Boston College
4.121 Robert Hunt, OL, Louisiana
4.133 Leki Fotu, DT, Utah
4.144 Trevis Gipson, DE, Tulsa
6.214 Thakarius “BoPete” Keyes, CB, Tulane
6.214 Calvin Taylor Jr., DL, Kentucky
6.214 Kamren Curl, DB, Arkansas

Excuse me!?

since you're not likely to get acknowledgement from said party, I'll say it for you StillLove - that is ridiculous.
next point - evaluating that haul, i like the Fotu pick at 133 and Hunt at 121, am just ok with Niang at 59, Davis at 40, Edwards at 71 (should be lower) and Gipson at 144. a
all the rest i dont like (or even know of) or think are taken too early. overall Grade: C+/B- (would be a C except for addressing positional needs in right order)

He's trying to get as many player picks right for the contest that they have. It'll give him a better chance of winning if the players the Seattle selects are on his board. It doesnt matter what round he thinks they'll go in. It's about how many correct picks he can get on his draft board. Might as well narrow it down 2and and 3rd rounders only all the way down through the 7th rd in that case.

His final mock comes out Wednesday!

Russini says Hawks not that interested in Clowney. They must be higher on the talent in the draft than most of the fans and pundits . It's just bizarre.
