hey, it was a reality check
“I think I could throw the ball better, we could catch it better,” Garoppolo said Monday. “It’s a little bit of everything it’s not one specific thing that sticks out. It’s a bit of a reality check for us. We’ll go back and respond this week.”

There's a reason people consider Russell Wilson an MVP candidate. While No. 3 was once again mostly commanding a run-first offense, and while he threw what could've been a game-changing pick late in the fourth, he also showed Jimmy Garoppolo what franchise-caliber QB play looks like -- and then some. Behind an iffy line, facing one of the most fearsome pass rushes in the league, Wilson was his trademark self, eluding defender after defender to extend plays, manufacture two go-ahead scores and just look absurdly comfortable from start to finish, including at the end of OT with both the Niners and, occasionally, the refs against him.
I have to watch it again, but possibly the most clutch was the series late where it was second and long, RW appears to evade a sack and scramble to make it third and five, but the next thing you know it's not third and five, but third and 16! I guess they blew the whistle in the grasp or some bull shit? No worries, RW is about to get sacked again, but leaves the pocket and hits Moore on the run for a first down. Clutch as all hell.
That was to Turner who has been far more impactful than Moore lately.

not that it matters, CBS is based on a single writer, Pete Prisco, ESPN moved the Hawks up six spots to four, 49ers at two, again not that it matters
I agree, but I found it very interesting. Some say last night was the best game of the season, but knocking off an undefeated, in ANYONE'S eyes means they move down? What ranking that can possibly be taken seriously can do that?

He has a point about them catching better but do you think RW would ever say that about his receivers in public on the record????????

My only complaint last night was that after we FINALLY went up under Center and let Carson carry the ball down hill...gaining 7 yards. We went back to the pistol and asked our back to take the ball from a stand still and run sideways. I honestly don't remember which scenario this lead to, I think the punt in OT, but that was the only time I was upset about scheme. The first two three and outs? I didn't like going naked backfield on third and two, but for the most part we just couldn't handle their front four on those two drives.

So he has us behind the 3 loss Vikings and NFL MVP Cousins.
6. Vikings: That was a big-time road victory for Kirk Cousins against the Cowboys. Dare I say it: Cousins is in the MVP conversation. 5 7-3-0

7. Seahawks: The division is still up for grabs after that victory at San Francisco. It wasn't pretty, but they toughed it out like a lot of good Seattle teams.

Yep the Diggs INT and the Flowers near INT both should have been caught but RW would rather pluck his eyes out with a spoon than throw his teammates under the bus like that.

Hey, Hawks showed grit and were the better team tonight. Their test is far from over. Let's see them continue this before we crown them SB champs.
who said anything about crowning them SB champs?...but love the strawman. A division title be sweet, conference title be sweeter...its going to be interesting, lot of football left, i think the issue at hand was you calling the season over
So the hell what? It's my opinion. I still think they're one and done in the playoffs. Some of you forum posters sure do get your panties in a wad when someone says something you don't like (wrong or not...I can admit when I'm wrong though).
I definitely admire your commitment to being wrong. ;) And good for you for coming back to take the heat unlike others.
