They could barely touch Rivers - Stafford was making sandwiches while checking down to third options.
Rivers got rid of the ball in our game faster than any QB had all season. Let's not pretend like he dissected the defense. He was 18 of 27 for 120 fucking yards and Taylor had 87 yards on 25 carries. The Colts were only able to stay in the game because our offense was dogshit. But questioning a defense that gave up 220 yards in 57 plays is fucking absurd.

Stafford leads the NFL in passer rating, yards per game and TDs. His 40 TDs are 8 more than Goff and 12 more than Dak, who are the next two. Imagine what his numbers would be if we hadn't held him in check the first time. You can't be serious here right?

Decay earns a two-game tard timeout for his sideline antics in Detroit.

I'm reading that Decay also went on air and apparently lied while playing the race card, saying that the fan called him a N***** and that his mom was a C***.

The fan denied it, and no one sitting near him has corroborated what Decay said he was called. Audio picked up nothing like that. To me, that's at least as bad as taking a swipe at some asshole in the seats. Hope the guy sues Decay, not just for the assault but also for false and defamatory statements. We should get a pool on the judgment against him. I say 2M.

You don't understand what the game plan was for the colts. Seattle knew Indy had to play quick passes and running the ball - the EXACT formula to counter blitzes. Seattle had to play wide and keep everything in front or them because Rivers was not gonna hold the ball long which means shorter passes and a LOT of RB's coming out of the backfield into the flat for easy catches - blitzing would have helped Indy's strategy. All seattle had to do was play a mostly generic defense - toss in a blitz occassionally - but don't give up big plays. it worked.

The New York Jets, of all team, just showed the world how to deal with unruly fans properly....

Metcalf needs to be examined. By a cranial specialist. Dude is out... to... lunch. Not playing with a full deck. Elevator doesn't go all the way to the top. Not the brightest crayon in the box. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer. 3 cans short of a six-pack.

Serious head case.

And Clemons, well, he's a grumpy guy.

So why did Rivers retire, did he get bored with the game?
He was playing terribly - it was obvious it was over. rememebr - he played for 19 season's I think. Maybe 17. Think of the toll that takes. Then you 'rest up' for 5 years, and understand the game better than most. River's problem is he doesn't have the 'quick twitch' muscle response anymore, and he was never an elite athlete to begin with, and now he is totally noodle-armed. His body can't do what his brain is telling him to do. Too bad, I always thought he was good for the game - total old fashioned, shit talking gun slinger - and I never once heard him swear.

That's hilarious!! Perfect! One year we were sitting in the centerfield bleachers and everyone was yelling at Bloomquist and letting him know how much he sucked. Same inning he makes a great running catch and goes back to his position without even looking up at us. So he's just waiting for the next batter with his back to us, and then slowly raises his hand behind his cap to flip us all off. It was pretty great!

So we just don't have an answer to 44 year old's with a quick release or guys with a high passer rating and if they are now ranked at #5 in pass rush that only counts when we play less than awesome QBs with a worn out passing attack ? Ok got it -

How fast do you think a pass rush can get to a QB? Read the rest. They gained 118 yards on 27 pass attempts. 220 total yards of offense....a whopping 3.8 yards per play.
Yes, the Indianapolis Colts' performance of 3.8 yards per play against the Seahawks was tied for the lowest in a single game in the NFL during the 2025 season as of December 23, 2025.

The Colts' 3.8 yards per play was a season low for a single game at that point in the 2025 season. The Colts' seasonal average for yards per play was 6.0, ranking them among the top 10 offenses in the league for the full season, which highlights how low their production was in that specific game
2.36 seconds from snap to release, but you believe we should have been all over the QB. Good Lord dude. When the other teams gains 220 total yards of offense and has the lowest yards per play of any game all year? Yep, defense sucked, right? Ok got it -
