Too bad Pete didn't realize that and played the entire first half like a ball control offense was going to win that game. I never understood how he looked at those two teams and thought our best bet to beat the Packers and Aaron Rodgers was to slow it down and win 17 to 13. That was a first half to forget, falling down 21 to 3, and really not even trying to play offense. We whooped them in the second half, but it was too little too late. Just another game we couldn't win in the first quarter, but we sure as shit lost it in the first half.

I'm not too concerned with our #2 RB. Imagine if the 49er fan heard that the Seahawks are whining about their backup RB being hurt!? LOL

He's not taking shots, but is he just reeling off platitudes. Heres a comment, it's not the same one. The one I remember he specifically called lumen the toughest place to play. It's had that reputation in the past. Is he just tossing it out or really means it

Wyman was just saying on the radio that Matt Stafford is they absolute worst QB when he is getting pressured with a QB rating of 24. Says we have been getting pressure rushing four but he would consider blitzing against him because he is so bad vs. pressure.

Interesting comment. And may help to explain why Stafford thinks Lumen is a tough place to play. A fast and physical team in a LOUD stadium.

Side note: Man, I love this team. And I really love what JS and MM have done in such a short period of time.

Thought to ask google, Lumen actually comes in a close second to Arrowhead as the toughest environment in a NFL players poll. Thats surprising to me, it still could be past reputation but if that's how they feel make it so

You've got a good memory. I don't recall anything from that game. I'm not even sure i watched it - must have already given up on the team that season.

Sure, but if they use KW to pound the ball on 3rd and short I'm not going to feel too good about that.

Yeah, that's not really his strength, but he's fine when he doesn't dance. It's not ideal to be missing anyone, but win at the point of attack like we have been doing, stay out of third and long, and get better pressure on Stafford? And I like our chances. They really haven't looked great on either side of the ball since we beat them last.

How about putting Cabeldue at RG on short yardage run plays and handing the ball to Bradford since he is an unstoppable force when he runs forward in a straight line.
