I'll bring over the comments about it from the other thread...

Hawks trade for WR Rashid Shahid from the Saints.

Nice player. But, a 4th and a 5th for a guy who is a free agent at the of the year. Wow

That surprised me, but not necessarily for the price tag, but because I thought they were higher on Horton than that. I wonder if this is a sign that Kupp's injury is worse than thought?

Sounds like he can be an upgrade on kick returns as well.

I love this signing. One of my 'wants' for this team was another playmaker on offense and this kid can ball - and it adds depth to the receiver room, AND he's a legit return guy - I think he was all pro or second team all pro returner - so he checks a lot of boxes. Smart move.

I really like the trade, but that is a of draft capital. How can we not like getting better!! It does shine a light on the severity of Kupps injury. John isn't trading a 4 and 5 to displace Horton and Kupp. Kupp must be going on IR. Rather have a RG, but this kid can play!!

Yeah probably could have got him for just the 4th rounder, but who knows? Maybe some other teams were in on him.

Undrafted. Made the Pro Bowl in 2023. Has 1,708 return yards and 2 return TDs.

Should be interesting.

We had two practice squad guys on the roster Sunday. Three WRs injured. This was close to a mandatory move.
