Thoughts about our forum after last night's game

Post by Michael K. » Tue Dec 30, 2025 4:35 pm

I found myself laughing last night as I thought about what the game thread and post game topics in here would have been like if we had been one of the teams playing last night, and I think regardless of the result? This place would have looked rather negative.

Falcon Talk Chat Forum -
"How the fuck do you blow a 21 point lead?" "The only reason we didn't lose is Stafford somehow missed the WR on first down, the Ref somehow missed PI on 2nd down and the 3rd down catch was overturned!" "Chance to run the clock out and that dipshit Raheem decided to shove Algier's plodding ass out there for the guy he later in the post game calls the best player in the NFL!" That one I agree with. Morris should be fired. That team has way to much talent to be trailing a dogshit Tampa team and a Panther team QBed by a scared little bitch boy. They were out of the playoff race before Morris realized that guy named Bijan is pretty fucking good....oh yeah, and the Pitts dude too!

Ram Talk Chat Forum -
"Seriously, we lost to the same Falcon team the Seahawks pummeled a few weeks ago?" "Stafford with another pick six, fuck that guy." "Hey Shula, they might hand it to Bijan, how about having a clue how to stop that!?" "This fucking team, how do you simply hand them a 21 point first half lead...it's the fucking Falcons!"

The Rams were everyone's darling two weeks ago, and are now locked into the six seed and have lost to both the Panthers and Falcons. Two teams we have destroyed. And guess what? Their MVP QB threw a pick six in both games. But I know, now it's the 49ers that are the best team in the world and about to take our lunch money, right? LOL

Sorry, I couldn't help it. The Rams have lost three of the last five. This place would be like a fucking Wildfire if that had happened to us.

How was that diving one-handed catch by Nacua ruled incomplete? Looked like he had control and dragged the 2nd foot.

Because from the only camera angle that showed it, he caught it with one hand, then as he was falling out of bounds, the ball was completely loose from his hand into his body, so he wasn't controlling the ball at the moment his feet were down. Simple call.

I didn't actually think it was that obvious. I thought there was a chance he re-established possession, but could never tell if the toes were still down. The miss on first down was the big one. That was not only in FG range, but probably a TD. And, back on the topic of officiating, the PI was pretty obvious. PI is over called, but when the second hand isn't even able to be used because the DB is fucking grabbing it? Easy call.

What would you guess our record might be this year if PC and Geno were still here? I'll go with 5-12, but that might be generous.

Only the experts that Donn Beach read in the Pre Season, and then it would seemed all that press vanished! One of the lowest Super Bowl odds in all the NFL. The BUZZ on the Raiders was made up, what little buzz their was. To honestly think all it took was Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly, oh, and Geno Fucking Smith? So stupid. I'll say it again, the only buzz I remember was the fact that Pete Carroll took the job. He, T Lock and Adams had about as much success as when Marshawn decided he was gonna be a Raider.

See, that's funny, because the more I watch that play, the more I don't think it was pass interference. The defender did have his arm kind of through the arm of the receiver, but I never actually saw him pull on his arm. I guess it's a matter of perspective, but when I watched it in slow motion I was even more convinced it was the correct call, even though the announcers were bitching about it.
