If Kubiak hadn't already made a believer out of me, that two point conversion play would have done it. I still can't believe how great that play design was! Perfect time to call that too. He was just wide ass open. It's not like no one ever releases after appearing to stay in to protect...but watching that play live I almost passed out from screaming. Just perfectly designed and well executed.

emphasis on the executed, as in all 5 members of the OL had to protect a clean pocket for 4 seconds before Saubert emerges in the clear. not discrediting Kubiak, but dont think most plays are designed to beat coverage after 4 seconds! pretty sure that was the 3rd or 4th option, if not 5th, all the others having been covered.

Saubert said, "Had a chip on the defensive end. Helped out the left tackle. I knew I was late in the progression. Sam is amazing at going through his progression. He found me late, then I kind of blacked out after that, so I can't say any more after that."

Good point, but that is a part of the play, right? I mean, any play can be destroyed if the O Line doesn't protect.
