No way both Mike Morris and Brandon Pili don't make the roster.

I assume you don't think Eastern will make the team?

Pili may have a stronger case with the ability to play nose, but what has Mike Morris ever done here? he's no lock to keep, especially given the age of the starters we're carrying at DE.

Yep Morris has been close to a wasted draft pick. Only 164 snap counts in his 3rd season. Ok 61 PFF grade. But they might go with him due to his experience over a 7th round rook.

I think They might want to ease Mills in there which is why they would keep Morris and go with 6 DL to start the season. And I think Pili's experience will win out over whatever Eastern brings to the table.

The fact that this is the one and only roster spot we are debating tells me this team is pretty locked and loaded and ready to rock.

btw Bump rooting for Bradford
“Beau Stephens – is he going to push Anthony Bradford? I’m rooting for Anthony Bradford, honestly. I know a lot of people knock him sometimes and he has his moments, but when he’s on point, he is on point.”

Bumpus has an optimistic view of that particular battle.

“If (Bradford) is able to hold off Beau Stephens, that just means he got that much better,” Bumpus said. “But if Beau Stephens beats him out, that means you got better at that spot. So it’s a win-win situation.”

The thing we can't calculate is special teams. Morris is a STs contributer. That can certainly play a role in keeping him or not

FGs
Morris has looked well on special teams but has struggled to get many defensive snaps. Morris is a fine player; however, he unfortunately is in a very deep defensive line room. With Rylie Mills finally healthy, and the Seahawks seemingly excited in what they see in Jared Ivey, could Morris be the odd man out

I thought Ivey was an Edge not a DE.

I would also question them keeping 5 safeties and 4 TEs + 2 FBs while only 3 RBs and 5 WRs.
