KJ Wright getting some attention as a future hotshot coach.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- As Robert Saleh prepared to depart the San Francisco 49ers for the Tennessee Titans head coaching job this past January, coach Kyle Shanahan made one thing abundantly clear: K.J. Wright, the Niners defensive quality control coach from 2024 to 2025, was going nowhere.
"It was an understanding from the beginning," Saleh said, laughing. "Off limits."
It explains that quality control coach is the bottom rung, its where you start with the grunt work. Thats where you show the dedication

KJ is one of my all time fav Hawks. Such and impressive person on every level. Him and Bobby were gifts from the Football Gods. Bobby might be a Coach as well. As much as we are fucked being Mariner fans we are blessed being Seahawk fans.

Did you watch any of the podcast that I posted. Seems like something you would be a bit into. Dude is such a professional in so many ways despite being an amateur. I have a lot of respect for him. And the fucker lives in West by God Virginia and like Racoons like me.

Racoons are creepy, those little hands. Thankfully no racoons in the PI, but they have monkeys, monkeys are ceepy too. I actually have a monkey story, found a lost one once. What a nightmare that was, incredible.
Watched it, Im not big on utilizing youtube but if you are willing to post im interested. Speaking of TEs, I think it was Henderson, picked his breakout candidate. It was AJ Barner which intriqued me. He's turned into a solid TE but henderson feels he could be getting overlooked. Feels he could evolve into a george kittle level TE. They seem to be stockpiling a lot of TE talent. That could be interesting. But its also an area i feel burned on in the past.

Williams had never previously cracked the top five since this project's inception in 2020. But he has always been a major talent, and he has maximized his contributions over the past two years in Seattle coach Mike Macdonald's defense.
These days, he's an absolute nightmare to block. Several offensive coaches did not hesitate to say Williams was the toughest player to guard last season.
"He was the most important player on that Super Bowl team," an NFL coordinator said. "He's the total package."
Williams recorded 7.0 sacks and a 38.0% run stop win rate on his way to second-team All-Pro honors. His versatility at 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds puts offensive linemen in a bind, no matter the position.
"You can line him up in front of the right tackle, the right guard, the center, the left guard, the left tackle -- he can beat them all," a veteran NFC defensive coach said. "He's always had game-changing ability, and he's putting it all together now. And those around him are making plays because of it too."
Williams' 120 run-stop wins when double-teamed over the past three seasons are tied for the most in the NFL. His 24 tackles on pass plays in 2025 were six more than any other interior linemen
