Given that they want a nationally televised game to do this, either Thursday or Monday night Dec 2nd. Firing up the team and crowd before the Rams game could have been more important that before Vikings game, and in two months.
I'll point out that Paul Allen died on Oct 15th, so this is as close to that anniversary as one can do for a national game.

Yes, without a doubt. Saved our Hawks. Too bad his Microsoft colleague Ballmer neglected to do the same for the Sonics. Instead paid 5x for the Clippers only a few years later.

Well, the Clippers might be the favorites to win the belt this season so it might have been worth it for Balmer.

Well, he is the guy who warned us that earthquakes were a threat in the state of Washington. That was priceless information.
