You are comparing apples to oranges. walker has been replaced with a similar talent at a much better deal.

Shaheed better put up more than 4 years per game if he is going to earn that contract.

I don't understand what you're saying. Of course other moves would have been effected if they had kept Walker. I'm assuming people would take that into account when evaluating that choice.

The first thing to understand is he was never signing with the seahawks again because he wasn't getting the opportunity to run for 171 yards here to begin with. That's what this really turned on. His dissatisfaction with how he was being used. The other thing to consider is the comp isn't Rasheed, it's Price his replacement. Personally I am quite content with price replacing walker

Okay, there never was a way for it to be otherwise. Walker fired his agent, he cut the deal with the chiefs hours after FA began, it had already been neglected. There never was a thought to negotiate with the seahawks to begin with. That hinged a lot on his failing to stay healthy. Let's see how he does in KS.

I agree. That was the main thing.

Right, i'm just saying i'm not content with Price as his replacement but tgat could change.

Regarding the inevitability, perhaps they could have promised him more carries and put it in their contract offer. Or had he already made up his mind?
