PCJS marriage

Don't know if this deserves its own thread but what the heck, a nice article on the PCJS relationship. I think PC is a good coach and I think JS is a good GM, but what i think really sets them apart is how well they operate together as a team. Marriage is an accurate description, it reminds me of my parents. They always came at me as a pair, i could never leverage them apart. I can see that with PCJS, they trust each other, they have the ability to disagree but move forward. A player or agent isn't going to be able to go to one or the other and get leverage. They do seem to operate as a unit. Its interesting, I think its pretty rare, and it goes a long way to why the team has enjoyed success under their leadership

some interesting backstory too, JS didn't realize they were going to hire PC when he went to interview, he came prepared to describe the coach he planned to hire. There is so much ego involved, that he could just shift gears, says a lot about the guy
"I had my books all set and everything," Schneider said, "and all of a sudden Pete got hired. I was like, 'wait a second -- what's going on?' I had my mind wrapped around getting ready to hire a head coach and what that was going to look like ... so I had to rip all those pages out of my book."

I enjoyed this last season and laughed my ass off at Pro's comment because dude has a great sense of humor. I am just about to walk my dogs to see the Atlantic ocean just a few miles away from where the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth rock 400 years ago. All good here. :D

gonna visit Plymouth rock?...as I understand it, its underwhelming as a rock. You could give us your appraisal. As hard as you are on the coach of the decade, lets see what you think of a rock lol

something about it i find amusing, like free the rock!

I saw it about a month ago when we came down here the the first time. Brought tears to my eyes. Truly a moving spiritual experience. Sadly, when I asked it if he would like to coach the Hawks he declined. Said he could never cross his best friend Tom Brady.

My wife was sitting on a bench about 50 yards away with the dogs and I asked "do you want to see the rock, its right over there" She said no. lol
