JSN to have wrist surgery

Post by SeattleAddict » Tue Aug 22, 2023 4:53 pm

apparently hurt his wrist against Dallas. Uncertain how long he'll be out, apparently will depend on the surgery. Could be ready for week 1, might not.

Why do our draft picks always get hurt???

I think first of all, we are closer to this situation than any other. There are more than likely fans of every NFL team saying the same thing. Second? I think that now a days? They don't play through as much, teams and the league are scared or retribution and they have better technology. A broken bone in the wrist for a rookie WR in 2023 was probably labeled a sore wrist twenty years ago, if not ten years ago.

This sucks but I am certainly not going to complain or question. He injured it playing tackle football not running around on a field.

he was injured on the 48 yard pass, came down hard on the field.

doctors online chiming in, saying it could be an avulsion fracture, which is simple and could just be a week or two, but more likely is a small fracture that is more in the 4-8 week range.

If there's a bright side, I think Bobo and Landers might step up big if given a chance.

Landers own injury killed his chances. I hope it is Lindsey.

Broken bone is probably a poor example though, I'll admit that.
