Still 19 days until Game 1 so Adams should be starting. Good stuff.

Okayed for walk thoughs isn't quite evidence he'll be ready game one, but still encouraging.
Jordan Brooks is coming along as well.

Brooks is ahead of him so he is more the lock. Yeah I said should about Adams. Not sure they why they would take him off if they didn't think he could play.

Carroll clarified that would not mean Adams would return to full practice yet, but it would allow him to take part in walk-throughs. “

I know I am more and more in the minority around here about this, but I am excited to see Adams on the field. All I remember is watching his highlights as a Jet for like a week or two straight after the trade. Damn, what could have been.

I am too. Obviously, he hasn't been the guy the Jets had, but him as part of a collective with our talented DBs gives us a lot to look forward to.

I certainly hope that he returns to his 2020 form and can play in the box. And if 2021 is the benchmark of "form" to expect out of Adams then we are not going to get the value on the field we need out of him.

Good news for sure. I heard they can still put him back on PUP list before final rosters and he can miss the 4 four games. If that is true, I would guess if he isn't totally good to go he will be out the first 4 games.
We are in good shape at Safety without him for sure. Love isn't as dynamic of a rusher for sure, but he is way-way-way better in coverage than Adams. Both are good tacklers (but, Adams hasn't been a good tackler for over 1.5 years because of injuries). So, there isn't much drop off/if any playing Love and sitting Adams.
