JSN has no shot imo...these things always take longer than expected not shorter and he missed almost an entire season because of a hammy so not a fast healer.
I am thinking Bobo which is insane given he is an UDFA with basically a 5 flat 40 time. What do you guys think?
Here are the options but now hearing Young also needs surgery! F and A!

I have always felt like in three receiver sets, Lockett is the slot. I don't remember David Moore playing the slot, and I don't think Bobo is a slot. Hell, move DK around so we can get him the ball more. I am less worried about this injury. He is a rookie for one, never played a meaningful down. And we also have what, three weeks before we play to get our receivers on the same page as the QB in any new formation sets we need?
It's a huge blow, don't get me wrong. I was fired up about JSN, but injuries seem to be what we deal with here in the PNW, right?

I don't remember Johnson having catches late last season and in the playoff game. Maybe he is the guy.....
I will always get Cade Johnson and Cody Thompson confused. They need to cut one of them for that reason. ha

Why don't you think Bobo is a slot?
If his outstanding play from practice at the VMAC and Friday's audition translates against other teams in exhibition play, Bobo has a prime opportunity to not only sneak onto Seattle's opening day roster, but carve out a meaningful role as a big-bodied, soft-handed slot target that the offense hasn't had in recent years.

No real actual reason other than body type. Could be old school thinking, but I think of slot I see Baldwin, Welker, Edelman, Beasley....small and quick guys. It is probably an out dated philosophy, and Bobo's quickness, size and hands might make him a tough matchup inside. His body type just screams outside receiver. That said? The Bills drafted a TE that they plan on using in the slot. Kelce plays the slot a ton. So, why not?

While he hasn't played much in the slot in his brief time with the Seahawks, most of his production last season at UCLA came from inside, as he caught 40 of his 57 receptions working out of the slot.

Who played slot last year? I know Lockett lines up there some. They will probably switch around for different plays.
RW missed what, three weeks?, for a broken finger on his throwing hand? I won't bet on if JSN makes the opener, but
I don't think he's going to miss a
lot of time. this kid only needs one hand half the time and I think he'd be able
to play with a splint or light cast on.
