Current Mindset - Poll
Current Mindset - Poll
Is this list panicking yet?
Personally, I'm not ready to throw in the towel. I've seen the Seahawks come out of the gate in the first game firing
on all cylinders, only to finish the season as a dud. This is a very young team. It was "welcome to the NFL" for a lot
of the young guys. There was too much hype going into this and the starters really haven't played together.
There was a point in the first half where it looked like the Seahawk were going to blow them out. The monumental
dump they took in the second half was so bad it would be hard to duplicate. Overall, they stopped the run pretty well.
Hopefully that continues. I thought the off season moves would make pass coverage better and yesterday proved that's
not a thing yet, but hopefully with tape and better communication things will get fixed.

I'm pissed off with how poorly they played but I doubt the lion's are looking at it like next week is going to be a cakewalk. They're going to be preparing for a tough football game, at least they better be

I am still pissed, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'd like to begin the rebuild. Tank the season, draft Williams, fire the entire defensive staff and start over. After a 6 and 3 start last year? Look at what has happened. I don't see the reversal that I allowed myself to be tricked into seeing this summer. The master motivator didn't get through to these guys as they played scared, lifeless and heartless. I don't blame Pete for that. Pete shouldn't have to light a fire under a motherfucker paid millions to play football.
Again, I am still pissed, but if you are asking about my "Current Mindset"? That is it. Tank for Calab.

Go ahead and add up the wins and losses after last year's 6 and 3 start. It's not early.

I'm not sold on Caleb Williams. Talent-wise he's legit, but he seems like an immature dumbass. Ryan Leaf-esque.
That could change, but it'd be pretty damn dumb to tank the season to bank on a guy like that.

All 3 wins were vs. back up QBs. 2 vs. the Rams and 1 vs. the Jets with an injured White at QB.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:50 amGo ahead and add up the wins and losses after last year's 6 and 3 start. It's not early.

Yep, but it's early. I get it, it's a new season...but this Sunday was probably the worst game I watched them play since they got lucky and had the Chargers once and Cardinals twice in the first nine games last year. They followed that by getting run all over by the worst rushing team in the NFL in Tampa, then lost to a bad Raiders team in a game they had won several times but the defense just didn't want to win it, then they escaped LA and a backup QB on a last second TD, then got torched by a bad Panthers team, beaten by Mr Irrelevant and SF, crushed by KC, and beat two backup QBs for the Jets and Rams. They followed that up by losing 41 to 23 in the playoffs and then at home, in the opener, 30 to 13 to a Rams team that won five games last year. But yeah, too early to make any determinations. The only thing different about this year than last is the defense sucks at everything, not just the run, and Geno appears to be what we thought he was BEFORE last year. Kind of looked like he did in the second half of the Broncos game, against the Niners, and down the stretch last year.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 3:46 amAll 3 wins were vs. back up QBs. 2 vs. the Rams and 1 vs. the Jets with an injured White at QB.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2023 2:50 amGo ahead and add up the wins and losses after last year's 6 and 3 start. But, yeah, too early. Asked what my current mindset was. After reading all the sunshine and lollipop bullshit and watching last Sunday? My current mindset is that this shit needs to be blown up. Young and hungry has been replaced by young and complacent.
Re: Current Mindset - Poll
So are the Chiefs D good? Wondering why the Lions couldn't do much. I thought they had a good offense this season? I know they put up 45 vs. us last season. Just wondering if I will see more swiss cheese D Sunday.

In the Thursday night opener, I was impressed by the Lions. Mainly that they dug in late on both sides of the ball. The trenches.
