Hawks Revival Game thread

Post by D-train » Sun Sep 17, 2023 1:25 pm

We have faired very well with the early games the past few years. Love it because I only have to wait 7 hours for the game to start instead of 10.

Go Hawks, don't let the season die on such a beautiful day.

Must win game second game of the season, even field gulls called it that. Could you have a must win game the first game of the season?

Stone Phillips at left tackle doesn't bode well.

To me this is a must lose game because the Seahawks are going to need another high draft pick to fix the D line.

With a toothless pass rush, predictable vanilla scheme and young secondary, Goff will torch that defense. With both left tackles out the offense will falter. Lions 41-23. The "that looks like really bad football" tour will continue.

I'd like to think our offensive woes are tied directly to our injured tackles but the main thing is that if our non existent pass rush remains the same a Junior High QB could complete passes. Watching the Rams game it reminded me of playing aeirial as a kid.

The Lions' pass rush is better than the Cards and they were pressuring Geno every play with the back-up tackles in. Could get ugly and Geno could get hurt.

I picked the Lions but only one point because it seems that the one sure thing in sports is that when ever everyone is sure something will happen the opposite usually happens.

For example, every one including myself thought Michigan St. would want revenge over last season and would rally around their literal Jack off HC and it would be a close hard fought game and we blew their doors off.

Not everyone thought that. A lot of people thought MSU would be in disarray. And a lot of people thought Colorado St wouldn't get blown out by Neon Deion and his Peons.

BTW i put 16 on the Lions.

I don't know anyone that thought we would destroy MSU and yes everyone though Colorado would destroy State which didn't happen....
