Andy Dalton announced as starter over Young
given our history against backup QBs and ESPECIALLY against Andy Dalton, we are screwed.
Panthers 47, Seahawks 12.

I knew that scrawny fucker would be fragile. He is going to make RGIII seem like an iron man.

ankle I believe. OC said there's a slight possibility Young would play, but an hour later they had a press conference and said Dalton would start. They probably researched about how we play against backup QBs and that Dalton averages 450 ypg against us.

Factoid: Seahawks coveted Andy Dalton in his draft year. They would have grabbed him and wanted to badly, but it didn't fall that way.
If he shreds us 12 years later, I'll be way pissed.

every QB that has had any success in the NFL was "coveted by the Seahawks" afterwards. They never mention the dozens of flops that were also "coveted". Fact is, if they REALLY coveted a QB, they would have made a move to get him. They maybe wanted him in the 4th round or something, but he went in the second, so ok, "it didn't fall that way".
Anyway, I think Dalton is one of those guys that is under appreciated. He's been a very solid NFL QB for a long time... and is like 4-1 career against the Seahawks with 14,534 passing yards and 75 TDs.

Well it got a bleacher report story. But the fact is they decided to take carpenter instead. Which probably wasn't the smart thing to do
