K/9 - Doubtful for Sunday- What to do with this guy moving forward ?
Nice to see Charb cut loose against AZ but that is probably not going to continue...

Charb, Kenny, Holani... screaming 12s, a game plan, tight ends who block and an emerging oline, healthy dangerous receivers, crazy-ass hyped up D at home with a playoff mentality.
We could win this one.

What to do with him? How about block for him so that he doesn't have to elude defenders in the backfield and break tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage?

So block for him while he sits on the couch watching the game ?

You said " moving forward". If you want to see fewer injuries (and better production) the answer is probably better blocking.

Better blocking is happening now - Utah kid must be making a difference on the O/L - Holani activated.

A better OLine for sure would help but it looks like Walker is just one of the running backs who is injury prone.
He's on a rookie deal so keep him but sign a good vet who isn't injury prone or draft another 4th-5th rounder.

I know K9 wants to get paid (like anyone would) when his contract expires. But, how can you give this guy big money? He is a really good back, but pay him big bucks when he can't finish any season. Heck, missed 4 games this years and 2 each of the first two years. But, it is more like 2.5 or 2.75 games where he got hurt early in the game. And it is just something else he limps off after so many carries all of the time. Finger, groin, hammy, quad, oblique, ab, and on and on and on. Can't rely on the guy. He is a good back for sure, but man he gets tackled two or three times and hes hurt. And he isn't even used that much, what if we needed him to be.
We got him for another year on his contract and let it ride. I'm sure he will sit out next year without a new contract. Yet, again he sits out a lot (minicamp, games, practices with injury after injury).
Too bad he is injury prone he is really good and seems to be a good guy. Sure want him to succeed. But, man he gets hurt a lot.
