I believe the NFL fixers want a winner-take-all Seahawks vs. Lambs for the NFC West title and sudden-death playoff berth next week.

Prediction:

Cardinals 26.5

Lambs 26

Sweet Jesus, make it so.

I want the Cardinals to win this game, then Seahawks beat Rams next weekend, so the Seahawks go to the playoffs.

But why do I want that?

Seahawks will lose in the first round of the playoffs, they'll get a lower draft pick, and worst of all they'll be less motivated to make any significant improvements. We could get stuck in a Mariner-like purgatory of perpetual mediocrity.

But I still want them to get into the playoffs.

Part of me is ready for football to be over with.

Rams are trying to blow this. No clue why they intercepted that pass on 4th down...but it just might cost them.
